Laser Focus On Your Target Audience With PPC Advertising

Offline advertising is growing by 7% per year, while internet advertising is speeding ahead with a 32% annual growth rate. Traditional media is losing its market share as companies increasingly move their ads to the online media, specifically in the paid search arena. Some time ago, Ford Motor Company moved 10% of its budget away from radio/TV to web advertising.

Advertising in online media has some definite advantages over offline media in terms of cost, reach, interactivity, targeting the right markets and measuring responses. This is why internet advertising is now becoming hot property for marketers!

Of all advertising (telemarketing, magazine advertising, newspapers, radio, TV, banner ads, email marketing, etc.), PPC advertising provides the most qualified leads and is proven to have the highest sales conversion rate. This is because, unlike other forms of advertising, your ad is only displayed when your prospective customer is searching for your products or services. This is why nearly 40% of all online advertisements are now pay per click campaigns.

The trend of advertisements within the online medium is fast changing too. While search engine optimisation is becoming vital for making your website emerge above competition, pay per click advertising is providing a very cost effective means to reach your target audience.

According to The Kelsey Group and ConStat, Inc, small-business PPC advertisers currently allocate on average 23% of their total advertising budget to PPC activities. Of these, 54% expect to increase their PPC spending the next year. Paid search has undoubtedly become the hottest means of online advertising.

What is a PPC Ad

Pay per click campaigns (PPC) are defined as the guaranteed placement of a small “ad” on the search results page for a specific keyword or keywords. Your PPC ads are displayed when a user searches for your services/products. This means PPC ads are targeting those customers who are actively seeking your product/services.

No matter what your budget is, you only need to pay for the customers who click your link. PPC campaigns are suitable for all types of businesses.

Major PPC campaigns

There are two major pay per click campaigns: Google AdWords, owned by Google and Yahoo! Search Marketing, which is Yahoo’s PPC service.

Pay per click advertising is growing at a very fast pace. According to Forbes, by 2008, companies will spend $8 billion a year on PPC advertising. As a result, PPC is going to be more expensive and competitive in the future, which means campaigns will have to be even more professionally managed to ensure the best return on investment.

Advantages of PPC advertising over other ad media

Speed: PPC reaches its target market at a fast rate as compared to other online and offline advertisements. You can have an ad up and running in less than an hour.

Sales Lead: Pay Per Click advertising generates more qualified leads as compared to other advertising media, as it targets customers who are actively seeking out your products/services.

Track the lead conversion: You can track the lead conversion of a PPC campaign very easily.

Cost: PPC is a cost effective means of reaching global customers, much cheaper than traditional media, which is usually limited to the immediate audience within its reach (be it TV, radio or print). Only web marketing can give you global reach at such a cost effective rate.

Ongoing improvements: In a newspaper ad, if it contains bad ad copy, it is likely that no one will respond and all your money goes down the drain. The costs would include paying the ad agency for the ad and then the newspaper/publication for the ad space. Similarly in the case of radio or television, if your ad campaign is not appealing or convincing, the whole effort and money investment is simply going to go waste. If no one clicks your PPC ad, you will not lose money as you wouldn’t have incurred much of a cost, and you can tweak the ad copy, until you achieve results you want.

How do I make my PPC campaign get conversions?

The key to successful PPC campaign bid management lies in:

Keyword research – any PPC campaign starts with effective keyword research. Selecting the best basket of keywords at the most cost effective cost per click is a specialised skill developed from running numerous campaigns;

Writing compelling ad copy – similar to other media, ads need to be written in a way that encourages your target market to take action, i.e. click on your advert. Selecting appropriate emotional trigger words are crucial;

Writing and designing attractive compelling landing pages – a task cut out for expert ad copy writers and web designers because this is the make-or-break page that the visitor comes to. If your ad copy can win their interest, you have a good chance of converting the sales lead.

Effective PPC campaigns require a lot of market research, keyword research, competition analysis as well as proper campaign management and monitoring. If you educate yourself and have enough time to focus on your campaigns there is no reason why you should not be able to achieve good results. Without the due focus, you can erode your budget in no time.
If you’d prefer to outsource your PPC campaign management to a specialist to benefit from their expertise, make sure the pay per click company has the skills and experience to effectively manage your PPC campaign.

Check out their processes, find out how they plan to manage your PPC advertising campaign step-by-step, and make sure they have a proven record of high conversion rates. For example, CleverClicks is a professional Australian search engine marketing company which provides a detailed step by step process of PPC campaign management. Whether you decide to outsource or not, with the right focus, PPC can bring phenomenal results to your company.

Step-By-Step How Anyone Can Make Money With Adsense

There are heaps of ebooks and membership sites on the online teaching you how to make money with Adsense websites. With so much information, you’ll be overloaded. Well I’ve read them, joined them and know what works and what does not. Here’s my advice.

Adsense is a Google advertising tool that is placed on your website. The ads that are shown on the website are determined by your content – the text on your website.

If you have pages and pages of articles on a certain topic, such as “Internet Marketing” then the ads shown will be all be related to that topic.

Your webpages should contain keyword related to internet marketing such as “email marketing”, “Adsense”, “ebooks”, “web traffic”, “affiliate programs” etc…

Therefore the visitor on your website will likely click on the ads since they have an interest in them. Otherwise they wouldn’t be reading your article in the first place.

So the most important thing you need for a good website that generates automatic income using Adsense is “Content”. Where do you get this content? There are three ways:

- Write the content yourself
- Pay someone to write the content (about $5 per article, the cheapest rate currently)
- Buy Public Label Resale (PLR) articles and alter the content

The easiest way is the last option – Buy PLR articles and change the words yourself.

With PLR articles you can do whatever you want with the article and even add your name to it so that you’re the author. There are many places on the internet where you can buy these articles. They are normally sold in a batch of 10 or more that are related to a certain topic.

You can even purchase websites with PLR articles in them and have an Adsense website online right away. Again there are many places to buy these Adsense websites on particular niches.

Now the following advice is worth gold so please read carefully.

You can’t just buy ready made websites with PLR articles and put in on the web. You’ll have so many competitors with the exact same site and the search engines will ban you for having duplicate content. You’ll have no search engine traffic and you can forget about people clicking on your website.

What you have to do is alter the PLR articles. My recommendation is to alter them by 50% to be on the safe side. I alter all my PLR articles 50% before placing them on my website. This makes them original and therefore more valuable. Search engines will index all of your pages so your website will be listed under several keywords depending on the content.

The next thing you need is a good design for your website that will contain all your own articles with other people’s articles mixed. For the website, you can either design it yourself or buy a template.

A word of warning. Make sure the design makes the Adsense ads stand out on your website and also blend in with the background. For example, make the ads borderless and the colour to be the same as your website. This way, it seems that the ads are really part of your website. People tend to dislike clicking on ads.

These are the 2 most important things for an Adsense website. However, there are other additional things you need such as:

- XML maps which Google loves to search and index
- A script to rotate your articles so that it seems that your website has new content updated regularly
- Link exchanges with other websites so that you get traffic from them and also get ranked higher by search engines
- Search Engine Optimize your website so that it ranks high in the search engines

The final piece of the puzzle for a successful website is to drive traffic to it. You can do this also by purchasing PLR articles and modifying the words so that you can add your name to it. After that submit it to article directories and with your resource box at the bottom, people will read it and visit your website.

PLR articles are very important. You need it for the content of your website and to drive traffic to your website.

That’s all you need to create a website you can put on the internet that makes you money on auto-pilot. It will sound overwhelming for beginners but there are easier ways.

For information on recommended resources and websites on helping create Adsense sites easily, send a blank email to my autoresponder ne-art1@aweber.com

Additionally, with Adsense websites you need lots of them to make a respectable income. If you have a website making $2 a day then in a month you’ll be earning $60. However, if you have 50 websites and they are all making $2 a day, then you’ll have a monthly income of $3000. Now tell me if that’s attractive enough for you to start.

Using Google Adwords Effectively

Setting up an account:

To do this you just go here: https://adwords.google.com/select/login Google adwords has provided a very detailed and useful “Sign-up Demo” which is in the form of a video you can use to refer to as you go through the process of signing up.

One of the best things that Google adwords has to offer is the statistical information this can save you lots of money and help you target your prospects in the most cost effective manner imaginable. BUT, if you don’t understand or use this service you may be throwing you hard earned money away in effectively. Now we don’t want to do that because it defeats the purpose.

Because there are so many variables involved in using adwords it’s difficult if not impossible to explain exactly how you should run your campaign. The best way is going to be different for everyone reading this, but I can help you to interpret the statistics that you see and then you can “tweak” your ads to get the most out of them for your particular promotion.

For starters, you should use the “conversion tracking” option.

After you click on “conversion tracking” you’ll need to choose “get Conversion page code”, there you can follow the instructions and choose the one that suits your needs.

The code that Google generates is then pasted into the page described when you chose the option that suits you. To insert this code follow Google’s directions or See above.

Having this code in place will enable Google to provide you with statistics that you can use to assess the effectiveness of a Campaign or ad group.

I recommend having your adwords account running for a day or two before trying to understand this next bit.

For example: (Talking about Search totals only) if an ad is being shown 1,000 times (Impr) and only has a CTR of 0.20 (displayed as a percentage) it means that your ad is being shown, but the people that see it aren’t clicking on it very often, or they aren’t seeing it. So it could be either because the ad is showing in a poor position (Avg. pos) 213.7 this would be on about page 15 or something, there may be a lot of competition for that word, you would need to raise the bid to try and get it to be seen more often. Or it could be well positioned (Avg.pos) 1.1 but not being clicked on because it is poorly written or not targeted to the keyword people are searching on. Or the key word/s could be too general.

So you would need to improve the wording of the ad, or choose more targeted key words. This is an extremely generalized synopsis.

Conversion Rate:

It is necessary to consider the (Conv. rate) 20% this is the percentage of actual sales/sign-ups resulting from the “Clicks”, So if you find that your ad is receiving a lot of clicks but the conversion rate is low, it may be an indication that either your ad is misleading! People click on the ad and go to your landing page expecting to see motor cycles and find chickens there! Or it could mean that your landing page is just poorly constructed, and not conducive to getting the sign up or making the sale.

A rule of thumb to get started is this: Use Google’s “Keyword tool” to select keywords from your landing page this will help ensure the keywords match the landing page. Let’s say you’re selling apples. People searching to buy apples will search for a keyword like “apples for sale” you will have “apples” as one of your keywords for the ad, because you would have “apples” on your landing page. Your ad wording might be something like, “we sell Apples”. So The customer is looking for apples finds an ad that says “go here to buy apples” they land on a page that sells apples, we have a synchronization happening all the way through, and that is cost effective target market tactics.

A Campaign can contain many different ad groups; an ad group can contain many different ads.

Split Testing:

And ads can be split tested. This means running two ads using the same keywords and settings as though they are one ad, but alternating shows of each ad, Google adwords does this part of it for you. After you make the ad that you wish to test, you then let it run for at least a day or two, and then you can assess which ad is better, using Google’s stats such as Clicks – CTR – CPC, and the number of times each ad has been shown, over a given period of time “Served” then discard the looser. Like a competition.

The 7 Reasons Why Adsense Stats Are Killing Your Business And How You Can Rescue Your Revenue

Google adsense has to be the best thing to hit online business since the invention of the internet. The service has allowed average people and huge corporations alike to make a very decent income online with very little trouble at all. Put in a little effort to create a decent site that gets a little traffic and you can be in the money. Make better sites with more traffic and you can really rake in the cash.

However the key to any business success is to be able to track where your business is coming from and how it is interacting with your websites. Unfortunately the stats that google provides for you in your adsense account are VERY weak. In fact they provide just enough information to make it seem like you are actually getting all the information you need to succeed. Sadly that just isn’t true.

In fact, relying on google’s adsense stats could very well be killing your business. Hey, don’t get me wrong. I’m absolutely NOT accusing google of doing anything wrong, far from it. However the information they provide just isn’t anywhere nearly enough to let you make informed decisions about how to develop your web business in the ways that are most profitable for you. Below are explained some of the main reasons why relying on google’s adsense stats could be a critical business mistake. At the end of the article we offer an explanation of what you can do to ‘rescue’ yourself from adsense stat doom.

Here then are some of the critical elements missing from google’s adsense stats.

1) They provide only vague information.
The stats only show page impressions or #’s of ads loaded on a site. To get any kind of precise information you need to set up channels for EVERY ad unit you display on EVERY page of EVERY site. Not likely.

2) They are updated very slowly
While it is getting faster, stats are still on a delay. If you run a high traffic site and want to test a change which turns out bad, you could stand to lose hundreds of dollars in the hours that it takes google stats to update.

3) You have NO IDEA what pages are generating revenue and which aren’t
- As I said before, yes you can have channels for specific pages, but if you have a site with more than a few dozen pages it becomes a HUGE hassle, and if you have several sites with several hundred pages each…well it just doesn’t work. So there you are spending hours and cash getting traffic to certain sections of your site, but you have no real idea if that section is actually generating revenue without resorting to the clunky channel system.

4) You have NO WAY TO KNOW what ads are being clicked.
Lets face it you want to have people clicking on ads that pay you the most, not the ones that are paying out .05/click. But you can’t get this info from your adsense stats. Without this info how can you possibly ‘block’ low paying ads from showing on your site with your adsense ‘competitors’ block list. And if you don’t block these..well google’s got to serve the ads to someone, and they’re very happy to send you the .05c/click ads.

5) It is IMPOSSIBLE TO TELL where your traffic is coming from and what it is doing on your site.
– Oh sure you can look at your web stats, but there is absolutely no way to match that to your adsense stats. Perhaps your stats show that you are getting lots of referral traffic from http://www.antivirus-report.com, but how can you tell if they are actually clicking on your ads. If they aren’t that traffic isn’t really worth anything.

6) Visitor behaviour is unknown.
You have no way of telling if your adsense revenue is coming from a few active visitors who click several ads on several pages or if it is coming from single clicks from every visitor. Why does this matter? Well if only 1% of your visitors actually click an ad (but they click lots), you have 99% of your visitors that you have to ‘convince’ to click at least something.

7) Content relevance of your pages.
Do your pages show all the ads possible, or is your content not relevant ‘enough’ to qualify for full ad quota displays? You MUST know this information. The less relevant your content means google will send you fewer ads, or PSA ads just to fill the space. You ain’t gonna make much on PSA’s (actually you make NOTHING).

There are other reasons why google adsense stats just aren’t enough, but I think the 7 above should be enough to make the point. Rely on google’s stats at your own expense.

This isn’t the right place to go into a detailed explanation of how to fix this cash killing problem. However it isn’t all that difficult to solve all these problems and more that come from depending on google adsense stats. Simply said, all that is required is to add a little code to your web pages that grabs the extra essential information you need to be able to properly and accurately track your adsense earnings. Getting your hands on this vital information will let you see exactly what you need to do to make a dramatic change in your adsense earnings.

The goal is to get your article out to readers who will be interested to learn more about you and your business. As a marketing tool, it helps connect your website to your target market effectively and inexpensively.

What your article should have

Article Marketing is simply writing what you know about your business. You want to create an informative article that others will want to read. It should start with a catchy title that will compel readers to read the rest of the article. for more Of course, the main body of the article should be just as compelling. Short, well-written, and interesting articles establish you as an expert in your field. It should generate more interest about you and what you do. Make Money Online With Google AdWords

More and more people in today’s world use the Internet as a tool to get or sell product, service or information.

The trend is that most of those users use keywords search, not directories or categories. Google holds the half market of keywords search.

Meanwhile, PPC (pay per click) campaign has hit the web like a storm. Pay per click campaign attracts much more interest from both advertisers and webmasters.

Keywords or key phrases are terms that a possible client would use to find your product or service. Keywords research is a continuous never-ending process that can help increase traffic and attract targeted visitors.

The best answer for PPC campaign to promote your products (including affiliate programs) is Google AdWords. To select your affiliate programs, the easiest way is to sign up to Click Bank, Commission Junction and LinkShare.

Google has leveraged their market share as the internet’s top search engine to deliver their version of the pay per click advertising model. Sign up for the AdWords program is free and they only require a $5 USD deposit before they will start to display your ad. It’s easy to run and control.

Google’s AdWords service has brought success to many businesses by providing them with a large amount of highly targeted traffic from as little as 1 cents per visitor. However, there is probably an equal number of webmasters who have paid for AdWords and seen little benefit or have indeed made substantial losses. If the latter applies to you, then the following may be useful to you.

The problem with Google AdWords is that it has become very difficult to find keywords at a reasonable price. Bidding on keywords like “make money online” or something in that range will kill your advertising budget in no time.

In my personal experience, it seems that a good market will be between 40,000 to 100,000 searches for that particular month. Less than that may be a weak market, and more than that could be too competitive. To find out for sure, you can use the Overture bidding tool for a particular word or phrase, and look at the third bid, it should be at least .30 up to $2.00. Again, less than .30 could be weak and more than $2.00 could be too competitive. You know, Overture is similar to Google AdWords, just it shows you the bid list.

For keywords selection, the best one is Ad Word Analyzer 3.0. You can “Discover the Quick and Easy Way to Drive Massive Amounts of Laser-Targeted Traffic to Your Site Today”. Please pay more attention on Targeted Traffic. I want to say “only targeted traffic will soar your sale”.

It seemed not very difficult to make profit online with Google AdWords: just join an affiliate program, promote it on Google Adwords and get commissions.
However, you have to learn more about Google AdWords for your living. But the more you learn, the more you will make. I believe it is your new lifestyle to make money online with Google AdWords.

Really Huge Profits Using PPC In Your Affiliate Marketing Ventures

Let us take a quick look at how PPC Search Engines work.

These engines create listings and rate them based on a bid amount the website owner is willing to pay for each click from that search engine. Advertisers bid against each other to receive higher ranking for a specific keyword or phrase.

PPC is one of the four basic types of Search Engines. PPC is also one of the most cost-effective ways of targeted internet advertising. According to Forbes magazine, PPC or Pay Per Click, accounts to 2 billion dollars a year and is expected to increase to around 8 billion dollars by the year 2008.

The highest bidder for a certain keyword or phrase will then have the site ranked as number 1 in the PPC Search Engines followed by the second and third highest bidder, up to the last number that have placed a bid on the same keyword or phrase. Your ads then will appear prominently on the results pages based on the dollar amount bid you will agree to pay per click.

How do you make money by using PPC into your affiliate marketing business?

The reason why you should incorporate PPC into your affiliate marketing program is that earnings are easier to make than in any other kind of affiliate program not using PPC. This way, you will be making profit based from the clickthroughs that your visitor will make on the advertiser’s site. Unlike some programs, you are not paid per sale or action.

PPC can be very resourceful of your website. With PPC Search Engines incorporated into your affiliate program, you will be able to profit from the visitor’s who are not interested in your products or services. The same ones who leave your site and never comes back.

You will not only get commissions not only from those who are just searching the web and finding the products and services that they wanted but you will be able to build your site’s recognition as a valuable resource. The visitors who have found what they needed from you site are likely to come back and review what you are offering more closely. Then they will eventually come back to search the web for other products.

This kind of affiliate program is also an easy way for you to generate some more additional revenues. For example, when a visitor on your site does a search in the PPC Search Engine and clicks on the advertiser bided listings, the advertisers’ account will then be deducted because of that click. With this, you will be compensated 30% to 80% of the advertisers’ bid amount.

Most affiliate programs only pay when a sale is made or a lead delivered after a visitor has clickthrough your site. Your earnings will not always be the same as they will be dependent on the web site content and the traffic market.

PPC is not only a source of generating easy profits; it can also help you promote your own site. Most of the programs allow the commissions received to be spent for advertising with them instantly and with no minimum earning requirement. This is one of the more effective ways to exchange your raw visitors for targeted surfers who has more tendencies to purchase your products and services.

What will happen if you when you integrate PPC into your affiliate program?

PPC usually have ready-to-use affiliate tools that can be easily integrated into your website. The most common tools are search boxes, banners, text links and some 404-error pages. Most search engines utilize custom solutions and can provide you with a white-label affiliate program. This enables you, using only a few lines of code, to integrate remotely-hosted co-branded search engine into your website.

Best know more about how you can use PPC search engines into your affiliate program than miss out on a great opportunity to earn more profits.

The key benefits? Not only more money generated but also some extra money on the side. Plus a lifetime commissions once you have referred some webmaster friends to the engine.

Think about it. Where can you get all these benefits while already generating some income for your site? Knowing some of the more useful tools you can use for your affiliate program is not a waste of time. They are rather a means of earning within an earning.

Stop Wasting Money On SEM: Know Your Customer To Know Your User

While it may seem obvious to many of us in the industry (The so-called veterans) it may not be that obvious to all.

That is, no matter what rankings you achieve or how much you are spending on your PPC in a month, you really should only consider one thing: Your customers. 100% of your efforts must revolve around who your customer is.

In this article I give some tips to ensure that your marketing campaign revolves around your customer.

While I was unable to attend Search Engine Strategies in New York this year (I went last year – it was an incredible experience) I was surprised and glad to hear that there was an over -riding theme coming out of the sessions both from the SEM’s presenting as well as the engines.

That theme is user intent.

That means, one must understand what the user – their customer – wants when they visit the search engine and ultimately click on a search engine result whether it is paid or organic.

I started to think about my clients over the years and some of the things they have said when I ask them, “What are you looking for in this campaign?”

Many of the responses include: “I want to be number 1 for [insert keyword here]” or, “I need to lower my PPC costs by [insert value here]” or, “I need to beat my competitor [insert competitors name here].”

What is the most important element missing from these comments (and, I think, from many clients in general)? The focus on the customer.

In the years I’ve been asking the question “what are you looking for in this campaign?” I think I can count on one hand how many people responded to my question above with, “I need to reach my target audience effectively.”

While it is true that many companies are beginning to realize this now, it hasn’t been that way for some time.

I think what is changing in today’s world is that companies are beginning to realize that search is big business. As such, they have marketers interacting with SEM firms and not IT people. It is these marketing people who are asking the right questions or, in many cases, answering them the right way.

Here’s an example: I recently sat in on a call with a client and one of the first things they said was, “We have devised seven unique personas for our site and need to target each one individually.”

”What? You’ve already done the personas? We usually do those.” But you know what? They did an incredible job. After reviewing their persona information, I could put a face to the persona. I knew what that person looked like, and what his or her intent was with the site.

And that is the most important thing to consider in today’s SEM world – you MUST know who your customer is. You MUST understand their intent if you are going to succeed.

For example, if your customers tend to have completed the research stage and are in the buying stage, don’t send them to a PPC landing page with product specs. Instead, send them to a landing page with pricing and shipping information.

Better yet, send them to the pricing/checkout page and give them free shipping! That will undoubtedly help encourage the sale.

Similarly, if you are finding a product specification page ranking highly for a purchase search term, try and find a better page to optimize for that term and de-optimize the product page so that the purchase page will rank higher.

This is where personas are extremely helpful. If you can put a face to your customer, you can determine their intent. And if you can determine their intent you can effectively create your entire marketing campaign around it.

Generally what you will find out, as you become more intimate with that persona, is that you probably don’t need to rank #1 organically for a highly competitive term. You could probably get away with above the fold visibility and still make an impression.

Similarly, you will probably find that the knowledge of your target’s intent can help you optimize your bidding strategies by cutting expensive terms, performing day parting, or whatever else you need to do to ensure that your site is visible to them at just the right time.

What many search engine marketers are learning is that the user’s intent, derived from an accurate persona, is more valuable than anything.

It’s more valuable than a #1 ranking. It’s also more valuable than an expensive PPC term.

In fact, such knowledge will likely impact the terms you use altogether. While you may think that the searcher will use certain terms, in fact you may find that you are way off base.

But, it’s not just search marketers concerned with intent. The search engines are also investing heavily in technology to help them figure out the intent of the searcher and serve the correct results.

For example, I could be searching for “Manhattan” and the search engine has to determine what my intent is. Am I looking for city information? Am I looking to find a hotel or book air travel? Or, do I merely want a drink recipe.

You see, simple terms like this can mean many things, therefore the search engines are trying to use their technology to figure out what the searcher wants.

And many times, when you perform a search and you see a PageRank 3 site outranking a PageRank 6 site, this is why. It is because the search engine has tried to determine that intent and is therefore trying to match the site that best suits that searcher.

But why would a search engine be so concerned about intent? It’s quite simple. Right now most of us have Google set as our home page. But what does it take to switch that to MSN or Yahoo? A couple clicks of the mouse and you’ve just changed search results providers.

This is what scares the engines the most – that one of their competitors, or a completely new black horse, is going to come along and woo away users with technology that improves relevancy to the user.

So, if you are planning your SEM campaign for 2006, my opinion is go back to the drawing board. First, determine your goals. Then, determine who it is you are trying to reach and why they would want to use your product or service. If you can determine this intent then you can effectively craft an SEM campaign that will be both successful and cost effective.

The Full Adsense Formula

Adsense is the best income generating program ever spawned! Why?

There is no product or service to promote. Only your domain. Webspace, an Adsense account, and highly targeted traffic is needed. Your success with adsense, you will soon learn, is as easy as driving s car or cooking a four course meal. The reality is Adsense Success and everything else has to be learned. When you learned how to drive a car it became simple and after a couple of months of driving everyday or so. It became second nature. Once you learn the Adsense formula and it’s variables. The sky’s the limit with Google Adsense

Learn The Adsense Craft.

You can’t cheat your way to success or for some a healthy adsense income. Just like anything other skill in life, it has to be learned. Everything that everyone knows was learned from a teacher(I.E. Anyone), a book, an article(I.E. Newspapers, Magazines, and the Internet), or by word of mouth. You have to learn the adsense formula and all the adsense variables. I have a A.A.S in Computer Programming and Engineering. So believe me I know how to give low-level instructions. No one can tell YOU how to make YOUR site a success, only guide you in the right direction.

The Adsense Variables

TT(High CTR) + Content = Adsense Earnings

Content – try to have a 1000 words of keyphrase-rich content.
High CTR – highly optimized placement of the adsense code.
TT – Highly Targeted Traffic

Yes that’s it. The “Adsense Formula” is just a basic math problem and as we all know any on can learn math. We’re not near finished. These variables the make up the Adsense Formula is the key to your success. Why refer to them as variables, because these Adsense elements constantly change and YOU are in full control of them. Imagine a indoor plant and its variables. Sunlight, Soil PH, CO2, Fertilizer, and Water. You control every variable and if each one is highly optimized then you will have a healthy fast-growing plant. If you highly optimize each adsense variable then you will in turn receive a healthy fast growing adsense income. Now that we have an understanding let’s evaluate this “Adsense Formula.”

Adsense Content

Keywords are a bad idea! High paying or not. In fact don’t choose high paying keywords, not because of the saturation of SEO experts, but because keywords are to broad. Adwords is ying and Adsense is yang. Broad keywords have low payouts and ctr. You want to target keyphrases, so your site only displays high paying adsense ads, not .15 adsense ads from some beginner with one of your terms in their adwords campaign. There is a lot of free content online, but it is best to use unique content for search engine purposes. To accomplish this hire a writer or choose niche subjects that you are familiar with, so that you can write your own articles and e-books. Don’t base your site on money rather than your passion. Example. My passion is computers and networking.

Adsense CTR

Optimal adsense ad placement is the heart of high adsense ctr. There are four locations on a webpage the receives the most clicks.

1. Just above the fold. The fold is the end of the section of the page you can view without scrolling.

2. All along side the left column.

3. In your content, if very interesting and informative.

4. At the end of your content after a reader finishes.

Adsense ad format effects ctr greatly whether or not they are placed in the right spots. Squares receive the most clicks, beginning with the largest and so on. The ads should blend with your page. Only the link title should be a different color than the text and url. No borders unless red or yellow. They attract viewer’s eyes.

The link color should match your site’s links, but blue and red work the best. Incredibly Increase your adsense ctr up to 400% by placing related images above or to the left of adsense ads.

Highly Targeted Traffic

Yes, there is a difference between targeted traffic and highly targeted traffic. Someone looking for an online business would be targeted traffic to this article, but someone looking for an adsense business would be a highly targeted visitor. Why high quality traffic? Your Ctr will be amazing and unbelievable because all of your traffic will be looking for YOUR site. Don’t be surprised if you have certain days where 97% of your visitors clicked an adsense ad. How? Blogs, Articles, E-books, Rss Feeds, and most SERP(search engine results page) traffic. Never use traffic exchanges or links from other sites unless their content is similar to yours.

Wealthy Affiliates Taking PPC To New Heights

Following my recent article “Using PPC and SEO in harmony” I will now look deeper into exploring the various ways PPC can be used for niche market research.

Google’s Adsense is probably the best way for using a PPC campaign due to its high traffic volume, but not because of its Adsense system. No, indeed similar systems can be found at abundance throughout the web. Google hosts millions of searches each day, meaning that any PPC campaign is bound to find a few customers amongst such numbers.

The chronological way for using such system would be to bid for your primary keyword, specially if your site isn’t organically in the first page of Google and I can be certain that indeed most of you aren’t even close, which is why you are using PPC. Using PPC for your primary keyword is all good and well, but have you noticed how many other websites are bidding in vein for the exact same keyword? You are not the only one using PPC and if you don’t have a certain strategy in doing so you might not even get any results from such system, even though you are paying!

The most popular keywords for a given theme are competed for fiercely. So how do you go about bidding low and minimizing competition for maximum results? Well, you need to focus your campaign on niche keywords.

What do I mean by “niche keywords”? Niche keywords are words and phrases that relate to your site but are undisputed for because they are very specific. For example, if you had a website that sold second-hand furniture in New York City, instead of bidding for “second-hand furniture” or “used furniture” you can be more specific by using “second hand furniture in New York” and even “furniture New York”. How about “New York furniture” or “furniture delivery in New York”? These keywords are very specific and will generate fewer clicks, but they are QUALITY clicks. These clicks are far more likely to turn into paying customers than people who click on “used furniture”, because people who search for such general phrases could be anywhere in the world and are out of your business range, but they could also just be fishing for prices or undergoing some research. Competing for very general keywords is unwise and unprofitable.

When someone searches for “second-hand furniture New York” you immediately know they are within business range because they live in New York. Making this person far more probable of being a potential customer. Not only are they in New York but they are looking for second-hand furniture within their city, bingo!

Finding the right key phrases are not hard, you just need to really think about what a local customer might type into the search box to find you. The more specific, the better. And you will surprisingly find that with such specific keywords competition will be reduced to almost zero, because your competitors are too busy bidding for popular words! Not only will these keywords provide you with golden clicks but also you are the only choice they will have from these keywords! How better can it get?

Bidding for words that are popular is a waste of time and effort. The key to PPC is knowing when and how to use specific keywords to maximum effect by a careful combination of educated guesses and informed decisions.
